Reading create tasks

Hello bloggers today I will be showing you my reading create task 1 and 2 and some questions.

for my create task 1 we had to do the exact migration path  of the geese and I made that on a Google drawing.

 

Sorry that this blog post is a quick one and not detailed.

for my create task 2 I had to plan my diarma.

I had to make a diagram over the next 2-3 weeks and I have done my planning.

Hello bloggers today I will be showing you guys my Reading create tasks.

First if you don’t know I am reading The Wild robot from miss Hanrahan’s novel study.

For my Create task 1 I had to made a video on Google vids on why birds migrate.

Bob will tell you guys why.

I hope you guys injoyed Bob’s Non fiction story.

Reflection: I found this fun because I loved roleplaying as Bob and Making the slides.

for my Create task 2 I had to make a migration map for the birds to go a new warm island.

  1. Brightbills instinct to migrate teaches us that the difference between a robot and an animal is That no matter how you look it all depends on your instincts just like, brightbill is being brave and learning how to adapt to the real world.

2.Roz uses her survival skills to help the animals by cutting down wood and help make fires

3. This section teaches us that working together as a community can work out if the just put there mind to it and do it and that they use there survival skills to help make winter easier.

Now I will show you my fast finishers.

We had to do a glossery  with 3 words and write the meaning and then use it in a sentence.

Chemical reaction turning milk into plastic

Hi bloggers today I will be showing you guys my science slides.

If you want a look go to slide 4&5

We had to make a question and hyposthesis about this experiment.

I am with miss Hanrahan for science.

We are learning to turn milk into plastic with viniger.

Anyway this is my slideshow.

With our experiment we had 4 teaspoons of viniger in a cup and then half a cup of milk.

and as soon as the milk hit the viniger it became a chemical reachion and we started to stir with a spoon.

And then it started to turn into casein plastic.

And then we scooped all of the plastic out and dryed it.

Then we used cookie cutters and shaped them and today we painted them.

colour fun run.

Hi bloggers today I will be showing you guys my colour fun run poster.

This was a cybersmart activity for the year 4&6s

The top 5 posters will be choosen to be put on hero for a display and printed out around the school.

Hellers has kindly donated 700 sausages to Wigram primary school.

Hi bloggers today I will be showing you my reading create task for the wild robot.

Right now I will explain my create task 1.

I made this on Canva because it is easier to make beautiful things.

I had to make a welcome to the community banner/sign.

I had added some photos of animals and some words ( lol )

I hope you guys enjoy my words.

Now it Is time for questions.
1.Brightbill becomes a better flier and teaches his tricks to other goslings. What does this tell us about the character of Brightbill, and what message is the author sending about learning and sharing?
2.How did you feel when the other goslings called Roz a “monster”? Why do you think words like that can hurt someone’s feelings?
3.What do you think the author, Peter Brown, is trying to teach us about being different? How do the characters of Roz and Brightbill help him tell this message?

Answers
1.That if one person learn then they can teach other people how to do it like a chain.And that to never give up and keep trying.
2.Because they don’t even know Roz that well and they are just judging her by how she looks.
A lot of the animals were probably just scared since Roz is bigger than them.And it wouldn’t be the way I would react because it is wrong and can really hurts someones feelings.
3.That no matter what you look like you will always be special in your own way.And that for every 1 bad thing you do or that happens there will be 2 good things. Also that it doesn’t matter how you look it’s Is all about who you are on the inside

Now it is time for create task 2.

For this I made a Canva and wrote a letter from Roz’s perspective to the animals to fully accept her into the community.

I liked this because I got to be in Roz’s perspective and it made me think how her life if and stuff.

Hi bloggers today for writing we had been given a Google doc with a whole information report expect this time it was all in a big clump.

Our task was to add a title and then break up the paragraphs with subheadings.

The bird we had was called a tui.

For reading this week very amazing tasks to so for the week!

And we were reading chapters 31 – 40 (pages 89 – 118) and these chapters were about Roz connecting to the animals and her neighbors.

 

Now the create tasks and slides.

 

Create task one was to make a DLO about a animal of choice Roz best friends with. We had to mention about what its habitat is and what its survival skills are.

I choose the beaver.

Because he help Roz make the house.

I have made this on canva because I love Canva so much.

And I made a Canva with a photo of a beavers habitat. and then I screen shot it and added it to a bigger slideshow and added immformation about the habitat and the survival skills.

Now I have my Creta task 2.
For my Create task 2 we had to make a community project that would help the whole forest.
there is 2 parts of this task.
1.planning
2.the presentation.
I have done my planning here it is.
My idea  is to make a group fire in the middle of the forest.
So that on cold nights they can meet together and stay warm.

Hello bloggers today I will be showing you guys my Reading create tasks.

My Create task 1 is to make a new chapter from the bright bills perspective.

I made this video of me recording the new chapter is going to appear now!

Your not supposed to see anything cause I’m camera shy.

I have my comparision questions first.

1. Why do you think the animals thought Roz was a monster? 

2. How do you think Fink the Fox’s opinion on Roz changed after she helped him?

3. How does Roz and Brightbill’s relationship challenge a traditional understanding of whānau?

Comparision questions answers.

1. The animals think Roz Is a monster because Roz is a robot and they they have never seen a robot before and he looks like a eird and scary creature.

2.Because he thought she was a monster until he helped him and that changed his thought.

3. Because the brightbill is basically adopted which means that they are really close that’s they become so close they become whānau.

whānau can also mean really close friends not just same blood.

I will update when I finish create task 2.
